About me
Meet your Spanish coach
I'm Andrés Felipe Galindo, a language graduate and a teacher from Bogotá. Spanish is my mother tongue; English I learned the same way you're about to learn Spanish — from zero, on purpose, all the way to a certified C1. That means I know exactly what the hard parts feel like from your side of the screen.
My classes are conversation first. You talk from minute one, I correct without interrupting the flow, and after every lesson you get written notes with what came up: the words you were missing, the two grammar points worth keeping, and a small piece of homework you'll actually finish.

Why Colombian Spanish
The easiest Spanish to understand — and the friendliest
Bogotá Spanish is famously clear: full consonants, unhurried rhythm, very little slang you'd have to unlearn. It's the accent dubbing studios pick when they want all of Latin America to understand.
Start here and every other accent gets easier — Mexican, Argentinian, Spanish from Spain. You'll be understood everywhere, and you'll understand more from the first month.

I'm a complete beginner. Is that a problem?
It's the best place to start, because nothing has to be un-learned. The first class is in a mix of Spanish and English, and the English fades out faster than you'd expect.
What happens in the free discovery call?
Twenty minutes on video. We talk, I get a read on your level, you tell me what you need Spanish for, and I tell you honestly how long it will take. No card and no obligation.
Which platform do we use?
Google Meet or Zoom, whichever you prefer. The link arrives in the confirmation email and works from a browser.
Can I cancel or move a class?
Yes — free of charge up to 12 hours before. Just tell the assistant on this page your reference number, or write to me.
Do you teach English too?
Yes, in Spanish, for Spanish speakers up to B2. I hold a certified C1 and I learned it as an adult, so the route is fresh in my memory.
How do I pay?
Card or PayPal, after the free call — never before. Packs are paid up front and are valid for three or six months.
